Almost 20 years after opening it’s first boutique on London’s iconic Regent Street, L’Occitane have returned to launch their first UK flagship store. I was lucky enough to attend the highly anticipated launch party on Thursday 8th February with my girl Danielle Peazer – and the two of us were in awe of the stunning 6,450 square foot space, at 74 Regent Street. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, an array of macaroons and a room filled with new organic and beautifully packaged L’Occitane products. I felt like we were taken on a multi-sensory journey through the store to experience the beautiful textures, fragrances and sounds of Provence – I highly recommend anyone taking a trip! The store includes a fragrance station, a Pierre Hermes macaroon bar, a gifting workshop and wrapping area, a pamper suite and the most beautiful flower installations I have ever seen. It really is a girls dream destination!
L’Occitane have created an unforgettable customer experience that engages, captures and informs. Upon walking into the store, we were greeted by copper pillars displaying botanical ingredients, which they have named ‘The Scented Garden’. This area featured exclusive and limited edition products such as unique fragrances and beauty products created by Pierre Herme exclusively for L’Occitane.
Now there is no such launch party these days without an area dedicated purely to taking a selfie for Instagram right? Well L’Occitane didn’t disappoint! L’Occitane commissioned The Flash Pack to deliver a permanent multi camera installation in the space, giving customers seasonally relevant digital and physical moments of their time in the stunning store. So of course, Danielle and I took full advantage and loved trialling the new installation!
L’Occitane also gifted us with the most generous gift bags which included their heavenly almond shower gel, their signature hand cream, the new Terre De Lumiere perfume (which comes in the prettiest of bottles) and a box of delicious Pierre Hermes macaroons – winning!
Thank you L’Occitane for a truly sensational evening, I will definitely be popping into the Regent Street store more often than not for an express facial or hand massage and of course, one or two macaroons with a glass of fizz!
