Dalloway Terrace is an elegant, poetic and quintessentially English restaurant and bar, set in the heart of the historic and vibrant Bloomsbury Hotel in Fitzrovia. The beautiful indoor-outdoor space is just a two minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station and Oxford Street, and is one of my absolute favourite London hotspots when the sun is shining!
Dalloway Terrace offers the peace and charm of a secluded secret garden in the winter, and then a light, elegant and beautiful alfresco offering in the spring and summer months. I recently went here for a Sunday morning brunch and thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful menu and welcoming ambience. It really is the perfect brunch spot or bar to go to now the weather is finally brightening up.
Dalloway Terrace is known for it’s epic brunch menu, as after all, brunch is definitely the highlight of a Londoner’s weekend right? They also have a fantastic ‘Honey Bee Afternoon Tea‘ that they are offering at the moment, which includes vanilla scones with cherry jam and clotted cream, as well as raw honey and homemade lemon shortbread – so so good! If you don’t fancy a sweet treat though, they have a variety of amazing savoury options on their all-day dining menu! But if you thought Dalloway Terrace was instagrammable, you must check out their new stunning grand salon bar, adjacent to Dalloway Terrace called The Coral Room.
The bar reflects a vibrant country house transported to the city, with a secluded cigar terrace, an impressive cocktail list and decorative palm trees. The Coral Room provides the perfect setting during the day for those wishing to meet for breakfast, coffee or a light bite to eat, but also transforms itself into a lively cocktail bar in the evenings perfect for after work drinks. Definitely one to watch! I will be trying it out very soon and will let you all in on how it is!
