Nestled on the edge of the 200-acre Syon House Estate, London’s Syon Park Spa combines tradition with modern amenities and unique decor. I was lucky enough to spend a weekend here last Christmas and unwind in an elegant room, rejuvenate in stunning spa facilities and dine in style in the Marco Pierre White Restaurant. It really is a stylish haven in London’s countryside! In true Olivia style, I packed for what seemed like a weeks holiday away, when in fact, my boyfriend and I were only there for one night!
As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Laurent Perrier champagne and a gorgeous assortment of chocolates – you can’t beat champagne & chocolates! But before we popped open the bottle, we decided to head to the spa ready for a well earned full body massage. It really was a romantic getaway for two!
I cannot recommend the spa treatments here enough, they were first class. After our treatments, we made sure to make full use of the spa facilities including the pool, sauna and steam room, before heading back to our bedroom to get changed for our dinner reservation. Now if you are a massive foodie like myself, then you have to try out this restaurant. We were so impressed with the menu, full of so much choice and flavours! We had never tried a Marco Pierre White Restaurant before, but we were very impressed. After a three course meal and far too much champagne, we were about to burst!
The next morning we strolled around the gorgeous grounds and I made full use of the wonderful surroundings by recording some footage for my presenting showreel. I designated the role of camera man to Sam, we managed to wrap it up after a few takes!! What are boyfriends for ay?
Syon Park Spa thank you for a magical christmassy weekend! We will certainly be back…
