Healthy Eateries In London

I thought I would share with you some really great healthy eateries where you can go and leave feeling energised (as well as leave with a great Instagram picture of smashed avocado on sourdough if that’s your kinda thing – I’m guilty of it, aren’t we all?!). Menus are changing with healthier choices emerging, and restaurants and cafes are becoming very conscious of organic food and where it is sourced. Los Angeles and New York have been into juice bars and healthy eateries for some time, and now it seems London has finally caught on! Here are a few of my ultimate favorite brunching and healthy eating spots in London for you to check it…

1.      The Good Life Eatery

It is more than just an eatery; it strives to encourage all of us to eat better, healthier and happier with an array of options ranging from juices, smoothies and a delicious all day menu. It certainly isn’t boring and they definitely don’t put anything on the menu unless it looks and tastes like a million bucks! What to expect at The Goof Life? Good old fashioned, freshly made food that just happens to be good for you. Oh, and the best part – everything can be made to take away or delivered right to your door! Winning!

2.       Granger & Co

Granger & Co is a new favorite of mine and super convenient for me as they have just opened their third restaurant in Kings Cross. The design of the restaurant draws inspiration from iconic railway station bars and restaurants and the post-war Italian bars of Melbourne. What to expect? The options are incredible – you’ll find almond milk chia seed pots with berries for breakfast, zingy salads like raw tuna and avocado and beef with cauliflower rice for lunch, and the ultimate shrimp burgers with jalapeno’s for dinner. All the dishes ooze flavor and the buzzy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for brunch, a late lunch or group dinner.

3.      Aubaine

Who doesn’t love a quick brekky at Aubaine? Aubaine is a passionate marriage of French culinary creativity and the discerning standards of the London dining scene. I have only eaten at the one in Selfridges, and I would go back there purely for the stunning lavender flower garden that engulfs the ceiling and walls. It is like eating breakfast in a magical fairy garden! If you eat here, you must try the avocado on cereal toast, with poached eggs, slow roasted cherry tomatoes & seeds… it was AMAZING! And if you want to treat yourself, go for the French toast with maple syrup – I am salivating at the thought!!!

4.      The Natural Kitchen

The Natural Kitchen has quickly become a hit with Londoners, city workers and locals who are looking for healthy, freshly prepared food and drinks in a relaxed and friendly environment. Their flagship restaurant on Marylebone High Street offers a delicious salad deli, juice bar and a green café on the first floor offering full table service. Incredibly tasty and top quality food!

5.      Daisy Green Collection

The Daisy Green Collection is made up of a handful of great cafes & restaurants that aspire to bring fresh, healthy, high quality food & coffee (inspired by the homeland Australia) to quirky central London locations. From their express breakfast bar, to their laid back bottomless brunches, hearty healthy lunchtime salads, fine dining evening service, innovative cocktails, and an almost all Australian natural wine list, Daisy Green Collection has you covered from sunrise until sunset.

6.      Boys N Berry

This fairly new little eatery strives to provide food that nourishes your stomach and your soul. Their diverse menu includes baked eggs and chorizo, homemade granola as well as meat and vegetarian sharing boards. Boys N Berry has definitely caught on to the trend towards a wholesome and healthy lifestyle.
